Dittographies and other corrections



The script of Vaticanus had been completely reinforced, probably around the 10th CE. The reinforcer was careful enough not to enhance text that had been accidently copied twice (dittography).
Dittographies, where the second part is enhanced, had been labeled by the first hand corrector with small ( signs. This allowed the reinforcer to recognize them as dittographies and enhance the second part.
